這個網站比較 1990年與最近幾年許多人口的指標，如人口數、人口成長率、各種社會經濟指標、都市人口佔全國百分比等資料。除此之外，還解釋了一些巴西的人口問題，如都市人口過多、鄉村居民貧窮的問題。
