這個網站比較 1990年與最近幾年許多人口的指標，如人口數、人口成長率、各種社會經濟指標、都市人口佔全國百分比等資料。除此之外，還解釋了一些巴西的人口問題，如都市人口過多、鄉村居民貧窮的問題。

這個網站主要視要來看各區域或各國都市化程度的資料，但在這個網頁我們可以找到南美洲的總人口數，也可以找到巴西的總人口數。上述兩筆資料都有從1950年以來，每五年為基準的資料比較。這可以呈現南美洲和巴西的人口變遷。這裡也有聯合國預計未來(至2030年)的人口變遷情況。

IDB population pyramids是美國的統計局 (US census Bureau) 所設立的網站，資料可信度較高。這裡可以建立1970年以來每五年為基準，各國的人口金字塔，包括巴西。

It is said that the population data in this page this based on Brazil census data 2000. However, I don’t know if it is true or not.
